COSTA MESA, California - March 15, 2001 - IOP, Inc.,
the premier developer and distributor of specialty devices
for surgery, announced today the promotion of Matthew Ziegler
to Director of Exhibition Marketing. This new appointment
is effective immediately.
Ziegler, 37, initially joined IOP in 1996 as a customer service
representative. He quickly established himself as a leader
in customer care services and the management of customer-related
issues. In 1998, he was promoted to Customer Service Supervisor.
During Ziegler's tenure in customer service, IOP, Inc. experienced
rapid, dramatic revenue and business growth.
Concurrently, Matt demonstrated unyielding dedication and
commitment to maintaining superior customer service in the
face of such rapid expansion.
His new position with the company will allow IOP, Inc. to
benefit from Matt's focus on marketing related issues facing
the company. He will be responsible for supervision all national
and regional trade shows; logistical management of trade show-related
matters; and, in conjunction with the Director of Marketing,
develop and execute marketing plans related to trade show
